When will we know what it’s like to be made new, fully shedding the broken version of ourselves? How long until the Lord shows His hand, demystifying the “salvation ready to be revealed in the last time”? How much longer until we can open the hope chest to touch and feel our imperishable inheritance?
It will happen in the blink of an eye. "You are being guarded by God’s power through faith for salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. You rejoice in this, even though now for a short time, if necessary, you suffer grief in various trials." The gap between this present moment and future glory may seem impossibly large. Still we rejoice. Because we have a hope kept in heaven that can never be destroyed. One day we will trade in the suffering of these “various trials” for the many gifts God has tucked away for us.
It won’t be long now.
That is why, among the people of God, hope will always be alive and well.

Today is going to be a great day! Headed to have breakfast with my love then home to the kiddies. We will make the rest of today about them.
I've learned that when Mom and Dad put each other first, your kids will learn how to work with life's differences. They will watch you and learn how to make healthy priorities in their lives. When you love and respect each other first, you're saying "I am making my life partner a priority" not the kids, not my job, not friends and not family. You're saying that "I'm choosing to choose you before anyone else except God". Make your marriage and your spouse a priority and watch God bless your life! Why? Today was long! I'm tired. I worked ALL day (Thursday is my normal day off) and I come home to slouch a beautiful bouquet of roses and cards from my family. I appreciate them so much!
Valentine's Day is just another day for me because I am fortunate enough to have Mr. Nesbitt do this for me regularly on a consistent basis. I'm still very thankful becauae this shows me that is still "The Man" I chose and will choose every day for the rest of my life.
